Install: (2021 OEM Unit Radio Install)
Unit arrived!
The installation was quick and easy. Just a simple swap, and everything worked flawlessly! Android Auto is now fully functional.
I'm pretty baffled that Toyota didn’t roll out a software update for this, especially considering the 2020 Camry did get one. It feels like such a bad oversight.
Bonus points for the new unit also has SiriusXM Satellite Radio. Not that it really matters. I just use the app anyway. SiriusXM charging per car instead of offering a bundled plan is pretty outrageous if you ask me.
Just for fun. I went ahead and ordered the wiring kit that brings the XM antenna in case I ever want to use that.
